Answer:
You’re right, I don’t think I have mentioned my tools anywhere!
I used to use multiliners and manually weighted my lines for varying thickness, but last year I started learning how to use a brush pen to cut down on the effort and I highly recommend it. You can get a huge variety of line thickness with a single stroke and not have the extra work of going back over them.
My main/favorite brush pen is this Kuretake one but it ran out on me, so I’m using this one as a back up. My first few attempts with brush pens were pretty sloppy and I still mess up lines, but you just learn to make them work or hide them.
Otherwise, I use this set of Copic multiliners, which has a wide range of nib sizes for whatever need arises. They work for the smaller lines or tiny details, and I flip quite often between brush pen, multiliner and fat filler marker while working. Most of it is brush pen, though! It just depends on which tool will best accomplish what I’m trying to do.
As for a book of my Inktober pieces, I’d love to do that if there’s enough demand :) I would definitely want to finish all 31 first though, and I have a few make-up days to go back to. But I’ll see if it’s doable! Thank you so much!
