This is the same man.
This works quite nicely at debunking the “beefcake guys in comics are objectified for women just like women in comics are for men!” imo. On the left: a magazine tailored for a male audience, showing him in full beefcake-type mode with headlines about how you, too, can look like this. On the right: a magazine tailored for a female audience, which has a headline about romance and shows him looking more or less like a normal dude.
Tell me again how comic book guys are designed for female sexual enjoyment, completely equivalent to anatomically-improbable spines and giant tits with their own individual centers of gravity, and totes aren’t just male power fantasies.
COMMENTARY
Women don’t treat men the way men treat women.
it’s also worth noting that despite all the geeks complaining about women’s impossible standards, the fantasy on the right sets a really really easy low bar to meet:
“cool clean friendly non-aggressive man who will cook a food for u”
yep what an unfair standard to be subjected to
Yet another unrealistic standard for men.

Yeah, a lot of people missed out on it. I honestly didn’t expect them to fly like that ^^;; I’m in the process of finding a new, more reliable way to get them made so I can keep them in stock!

Do you want to own a shiny print volume of the epic fantasy adventure webcomic Unsounded? Of course you do! Help make it possible by supporting the Unsounded Kickstarter, live now and itching for your support!
Unsounded plainly wouldn’t exist without its readers. I couldn’t do it if you guys didn’t have my back. Let’s keep it going with this second volume. The better it does, the more focus I can give Unsounded, from a new website to new side stories to multi-page updates and - and- and the sky’s the limit!
And if we reach the goal? I have stretch goals ranging from a print-exclusive Duane comic to vinyl stickers for everyone to a Tainish language guide. I’m thinking it could be pretty great.
Please consider picking up a book, or even just reblogging this call. Thanks so much! :D

Remember that female led assassin game none of you bought?
Yeah
Buy this game. make it explode. Show ubisoft and their leaders that there’s interest in a female led assassin game
make this game explode again
Following up on this again because I stupidly didn’t speak up about the game itself, which I have played on Vita.
All controversy aside, it’s a decent game. It’s admittedly not the best in the series, but Aveline is awesome and the storyline is engaging. My biggest issue is with the notoriety system, which I found irritating, but I give them mad props for being creative with Aveline’s costume/social presence swaps.
I don’t know why there are so many people calling it the glitchiest game in existence. I don’t remember hitting any glitches while playing it. Maybe I got lucky?
Aveline is a great character. Please don’t miss out on her because you feel she wasn’t given “proper” attention or was released on a system you don’t like. I’m pretty sure they were trying to sell Vitas, not pawn her off on a system they knew nobody would buy. In any case, it’s been ported to consoles and computers and is pretty cheap now. It’s worth at least $20.
The game has nothing to do with AC3 (unless you link them to play the special mission with Connor) so you don’t have to play that game to play this one.
