I loved Brother Bear, but I felt almost cheated when I saw this alternate clip in the DVD extras. It’s so much more powerful than the scene they put in the final movie and never fails to give me goosebumps.

I’m relatively sure they decided it was a little too powerful for a kid’s movie, so they overlaid it with a song. At least they gave it to us in the extras.

BPelt’s Multifill and Flatten Pro tools can automatically add flat colors to your illustration with but a few clicks.

I whipped this up real quick because I’ve tried to share this tool with several artists and most of them don’t seem to comprehend how awesome it is. Seriously, it’s really awesome. Especially if you’re paying people to flat stuff for you.

Of course, there are ways to make these tools most effective, so I’ve detailed what I’ve learned so far. I hope this helps!

“Casey was left in a metal nest box for months. Her legs became splayed, and her joints are about fused. Her hips and legs will not allow her to stand or walk. Without surgery soon, she will have to be put down. She is very loving and smart. She loves to snuggle, can say several words, "I love you”, “mama”, “baby”, and “hello”. I’ve had her for 2 weeks, and cannot find funds for her to have the surgery the vet says is the only chance she has.“
