Well, I cover a lot of “getting out there” tips in my freelancing guide, so give that a read.

As for applying designs to different products, I recommend studying existing ones. You can often see what works and what doesn’t just by looking at what’s already been done.

SAI is a lot easier to use than Photoshop though, so you can pretty much figure it out by spending a few hours playing with all the settings.

Oh, yes. Their story goes on, and I try to doodle them from time to time. They’re good warm-up material because I’ve been drawing them for so long. I’ll try to save and post more of the sketches.

Yeah, haha! They ended up with three because they’re such cute parents. Kylee kind of came around after I stopped drawing the family so much, so a lot of people don’t know about her.
